Primary (KS1 and KS2), secondary and KS3 Science are taught to all school children. Pupils are introduced to basic Biology, Chemistry and Physics within the curriculum. GCSE Science is a compulsory subject and is divided into two distinct syllabi. Combined double award science or dual award, signifies that a student can obtain two GCSE qualifications. This appears to be very common throughout schools, although some allow specialist study of Physics, Chemistry and Biology so the student can obtain three separate GCSEs as oppose to two, very much like the old C.S.E. and O'level system.

Many parents and students often seek the help of private teaching to help improve grades for KS4 Science. Certain aspects of Science courses at GCSE can often prove to be difficult. For example, Chemical Reactions, Genetics and Inheritance or Forces. Tutees can benefit with the help of local Science classes. Whether this is for help with chemical calculations, guidance on how to structure practical assessments or Science revision techniques. We also have many specialist teachers who can help tutees better their understanding of the specification with online Science tuition.

On completion of GCSE Science a student can specialise in Science at A-Level, HND or BTEC National Diploma at college. Many student choose A levels in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. College students who require help with courses such as Applied Science or Forensic Science can boost their confidence with the help of personal Science lessons. This also is applicable to Scottish students studying Standard Grades and Higher Grades.

When a student obtains good grades in any A-Level Science exam, many decide to pursue their education further and go onto specialise in Degree Science at university level. There are are a large array of specialisms that an undergraduate or postgraduate Science student can choose from. These can include such specialisms as Biochemistry, Biological Science, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Medicine and Opthamology. We have a large range of personal Science teachers listed with us across the UK who can can assist tutees with many of these specialist areas.
