Wherever possible I attempt to rearrange cancelled lessons. However, lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to the full lesson fee.

With 25 years of experience in education, including 14 years as a self-employed private tutor, I am passionate about helping students of all ages develop their English skills. I specialize in teaching English to students aged 4 and upwards, covering everything from basic language concepts to advanced A-level coursework. Holding a BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature, along with PTLLS and TEFL qualifications, I am committed to fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.


I take a creative approach to lessons, using a wide range of activities aligned with the TEFL-approved structure to support diverse learning styles. I have experience teaching online, in person and in the classroom. I am adept at creating interactive, student-centered lessons that build confidence and engagement. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every person has the right to learn, and I am committed to helping students realize and reach their full potential. I am patient, motivational, and supportive, encouraging students to explore and learn at their own pace rather than dictating the process. I am excited about the opportunity to bring my skills and experience to teach students online, supporting their English language journey across a range of ages and levels.
