Personal Information:
I am a highly experienced teacher and school leader of 29 years service in primary and middle school in Northants and MK. My most recent position for the past 5 years was as Headmistress of a private Independent school and nursery. I have a BA (Hons) from Leicester University (Music, English & Drama) and PGCE from University of Northampton.

Having left the school setting in 2024, I am branching out into tutoring to help individuals with the boost they need. I offer a free 'get to know you' meeting without obligation before you book your first session.

Throughout my many years of helping pupils, I understand what it takes to allow individuals the opportunity to thrive and feel more confident in their learning. I teach with compassion, mixed with determination to get results from all pupils regardless of their age or ability.
I have plenty of experience with boosting pupils to pass the 11+ or achieve great results in their KS2 SATS. I can help with catch up areas or stretching more able pupils.

I know how to get the best from disaffected pupils, those with special educational needs or high abilities, and am a specialist in working with highly sensitive or neuro-divergent pupils and adults. Everyone is welcome to work with me.

I am open to teach at my home in Northampton, or online. I may be able to travel to you where available.

I have a current enhanced DBS certificate, and safeguarding certificate.
